Once the plugin is installed and connected, you’ll be able to choose which email templates you want to use for each type of transactional email.

This gives you the flexibility to create custom transactional emails that match your brand’s style and voice.
The best part about using Mailchimp for WooCommerce transactional emails is that they’ll all be automatically added to your Mailchimp list.
This means that people who receive these emails will also be included in your email marketing campaigns, giving you an easy way to grow your list organically.

What is an abandoned cart? An abandoned cart is defined as a shopping cart that has been created on an ecommerce site but not completed.

Whatever the reason, it results in lost sales for the business.

Mailchimp for WooCommerce Documentation
There are two ways to install the Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin: via the WordPress admin panel or by uploading the plugin files to your server.
If you choose to install the plugin via the WordPress admin panel, simply log in and navigate to the ‘Add New plugin’s page.
From there, search for ‘Mailchimp for WooCommerce and install the plugin.
Once the plugin is installed, you’ll need to configure it before it will start working with your store.
The first thing you’ll need to do is connect your Mailchimp account with the plugin.
To do this, click on the “Mailchimp” tab in the WooCommerce settings area and enter your Mailchimp API key.
Once you’ve done this, you can then choose which list you want customers and orders to be added to when they’re created in WooCommerce.
The next step is optional, but we recommend setting up double opt-in confirmation for your lists.
This means that when someone signs up for your list via WooCommerce, they’ll receive an email from Mailchimp asking them to confirm their subscription.
It helps reduce spam complaints and ensures that only people who really want to be on your list are signing up for it.
Once you’ve got double opt-in confirmation set up (or if you skipped that step), you can move on to configuring how emails are sent from WooCommerce using Mailchimp.
By default, WooCommerce uses its own transactional email system when sending out order receipts, shipping notifications, etc., but these emails can also be sent through Mailchimp instead if you prefer.
To do this, head over to the Email Sender Settings page in WooCommerce and select ‘MailChimps Transactional Email Service’ as your sender option.
Once you save these changes, all future WooCommerce emails will be sent through MailChimp servers instead of WooCommerces’.
